Export regulations in Bahrain
Prohibited Items
The following are goods which cannot be taken out of the country:
- All types of fuel and subsidised goods such as diesel.
- Flour.
- Fresh chicken bearing the trade mark of 'Delmon'.
- Red meat.
Restricted Items
These goods are strictly regulated, and in most cases require a permit to be obtained prior to departure:
- Live horses require a permit from the Equestrian and Horse Racing Club.
- Camels require a permit from the Royal Court.
- Palm tree seedlings require a permit from the Ministry of Municipalities & Agriculture Affairs.
- Garbage and waste requires a permit from the Public Commission for the Protection of Marine Resources, Environment and Wildlife.
- Antiquities require permits from the Ministry of Information.
