Export regulations in Bolivia
Prohibited Items
The following are goods which cannot be taken out of the country:
- Illegal drugs.
- Dangerous knives and weapons.
- Pornography.
- Counterfeit money, goods and other paraphernalia.
- Gambling machines.
Restricted Items
These goods are strictly regulated, and in most cases require a permit to be obtained prior to departure:
- Pre-Colombian artefacts, historical paintings, items of Spanish colonial architecture and history, and native textiles will require permission to be legally exported out of the country.
