Prohibited Items
The following are goods which cannot be taken out of the country:

Restricted Items
These goods are strictly regulated, and in most cases require a permit to be obtained prior to departure:
- Funds of more than SI$50,000 or its foreign equivalent must be declared to the customs authorities.
- Live animals may require a health certificate issued by the Chief Veterinary Officer of the Ministry of Agriculture and Lands.
- Endangered species and products protected under CITES require a permit for export.
