Tobacco limit

One of the following:

  • 200 grams of cigarettes;
  • 25 cigars;
  • or 200 grams of tobacco.

Bringing alcohol

  • 1 litre of alcohol.

Cash limit

  • Funds of US$10,000 (or its foreign equivalent) or more must be declared to the customs authorities.
  • A maximum of E€5000 may be brought into Egypt.

Other Goods

  • Personal goods, including jewellery, electronics, sports equipment, and musical instruments.
  • New goods up to a value of E€1500.
  • Medicines for personal use accompanied by a doctor's prescription.
